Tommy’s really got little Rocky (13″ beagle) going great. We killed three rabbits for him in about two hours today. The only bad thing was the amount of snow still down in the thickets. I’d guess there’s 3 to 4 feet of snowpack in the shaded places. No real warm weather in the ten day forecast although it’s supposed to start hitting the mid-40s by the end of the period. Potential for more snow early in the week. Hopefully it will be all gone by the time dogs start arriving for Grouse Camp in June. 😉
We did run dogs yesterday and Jack and Frankie had a divided find on a grouse with the Little Thudster backing Jack and Trip backing Frankie.
